Summer is upon us yet again and if you are like millions of women worldwide you’re still trying to shed a few extra pounds so that you look fabulous in your swimming costume for your holiday on the beach. Doubtless on your quest you’ve tried at least a few of the weight loss courses, products, programs, or books that promise to help you easily make your goal. And if you are like the majority of the women, you’ll have discovered that they were not for you and most likely have moved on to yet another.

In my private practice in Hampshire I work with hundreds of ladies every year who are in this cycle. By teaching them both self-hypnosis and EFT, I help them to literally become their own therapist with enough skills and confidence to control their weight.

Along with these powerful techniques I teach them three essential actions that are necessary to weight loss regardless of which path you choose to take as well as one very powerful optional one. It’s these actions I wish to share with you today:

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in-between and even after your meals- In doing this you both eliminate the need for unhealthy snacks and feel more full of energy and vitality.

Pick specific times to eat- Find three specific times in your schedule when you have time to sit down and truly enjoy your meal. I know this is difficult with all the demands in your life, but it needn’t be more than twenty minutes each break. By sticking to these specific times, you will be teaching your body to process the food at a time that is convenient for you.

Walk daily- It is absolutely incredible all the benefits that this gentle exercise can give you even if you walk only fifteen minutes a day. I suggest to all my clients that they start here and work up to an hour and a half for maximum benefits.

(Optional) Consider using EFT for the cravings even if you do not use it for any other part of your plan- There is a quick tapping technique that can fully eliminate your immediate cravings and allow you to make a more positive choice.

Though these steps alone may not be enough to get full results you want, they will increase the benefits you get from your chosen program by at least 100%

If you are suffering from either long-term weight gain or obesity I would highly encourage you to work with both your GP and a qualified therapist to get your body back into shape.
